Our Business

Rawlinsons (W.A.) is a Quantity Surveying and Construction Cost Management consultancy founded in 1953 in Perth, Western Australia.

In addition to our consultancy services, Rawlinsons (W.A.) is the creator and publisher of the widely recognised Rawlinsons Australian Construction Handbook and Rawlinsons Construction Cost Guide. These publications are produced annually and provide the Australian construction industry with a comprehensive, reliable and up-to-date library of construction pricing data. Building on this long-standing foundation, Rawlinsons now also offers digital cost data subscriptions, providing subscribers with flexible, searchable access to curated construction cost information designed to support modern estimating and cost-planning workflows.

Rawlinsons (W.A.) is committed to strong corporate responsibility and ethical business practices. We believe transparency is fundamental to maintaining trust and providing assurance that we operate as a responsible corporate citizen.In compliance with the Australian Modern Slavery Act 2018, we have published a Modern Slavery Statement outlining how modern slavery risks may impact our business and the steps we are taking to identify, mitigate and address those risks.

In compliance with the Australian Modern Slavery Act 2018 we have published our company statement in which we explain how slavery can affect our business and the steps we are taking to fight against it.

Based in Western Australia, all cost management consultancy services are delivered in-house by employees who are Australian citizens. Within our publishing division, our team comprises full-time, part-time and casual employees, all of whom are Australian citizens. In compiling our construction cost publications and digital data products, we engage specialist consultants across Australia to ensure the accuracy, depth and reliability of the cost data provided.

Due Diligence

We understand that our biggest exposure to Modern Slavery is in our product supply chains in regards to the production of our annual publications.

Rawlinsons (W.A.) can ensure that we collaborate with likeminded suppliers who are not engaged with businesses who operate using any form of Modern Slavery.

Training Available to Staff

A key part of our slavery and human trafficking strategy is to promote cultural change through training.

All Rawlinsons (W.A.)’s employees must complete an online training module on modern slavery run by UTS (University of Technology Sydney) and compiled by Anti-Slavery Australia.
